The three photos I put in my Selfie, are the most unforgettable thing I've experienced, and the most important thing for me. The last layer, I put for the environment, is the view from my house. It was the beginning of the winter in Michigan, which was the first experience for me. When I saw this view, I immediately took picture, even though I had to go to the school, and this was the best picture I've taken in my life. The next layer is my selfie, which I tried for the first time. I didn't like to take selfie, I've never taken selfie, and I still don't like it. But I enjoyed collaging the picture to make it transparent and trying to create unity to this work. The second layer is the pie with berries, which I couldn't forget the place where they sold, and the taste of the pies. This also represents my favorite thing to do, which is eating. The first layer I put is the clock. I didn't put this photo because I like the clock, or has some unforgettable episode for this, but I put this so it could represent the time. This is the most important thing, and what I wish to have.

Throughout the term, I took lots of picture in this Digital Photography I. I went to many places that are not close from my house, but I thought my neighbor was the best place to take pictures. The picture of white flower is one of the best picture I took in this class, and I wanted to use this somewhere. This white flower was standing alone strongly, which stands out in the green grass. The other picture was selfie, but these photos went well, on the double exposure.
Artist Statement (Juxtoposition)
Compared to the selfie from the first edited photo, I think I did better on the double exposure. One of the reason that I felt I become better was the editing. When I edit the first photo, I could only erase or reduce opacity. For this double exposure, I used all of the thing that I learned in this class. I used not only eraser and opacity, but also desaturate, selection tool, masks, adjustments, and more. Another reasons would be the quality of the photos. Since I took 25 or more photos every week, I was able to take better pictures than the first time. Also, by looking at the high quality pictures every week in the journals, I learned lots of composition that make better photos. I felt I was able to take good photo for the white flower in the double exposure.
